Trinity's Missions

Trinity takes Jesus’ command to be His witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to  the ends of the earth, seriously. (Acts 1:8) We are involved in supporting missions in Columbia, Missouri, the United States, and around the world.  Here is a list of some of the missions we support with participation and finances:

The Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri

Loaves and Fishes Soup KitchenTrinity provides food and serves at Loaves and Fishes the second Thursday of each month.

Heifer International - join the children of the church in donating livestock

I. At-risk youth

Presbyterian Children's Home's and Services -providing compassionate and therapeutic social, psychological and educational services to children and families of all faiths 

Granny's House - a safe, nurturing place where public housing kids can come each day after school to see values, manners and God's love in action

II. Empowerment of people

Love INC

The Wardrobe - thrift store where gently worn clothing for all ages is sold at nominal prices and given to those in need.  Volunteers from Trinity work the third Wednesday of each month.

Adult Day Connection

Voluntary Action Center - provides a wide variety of resources and assistance to address unmet needs, giving low-income people the opportunity to gain independence, overcome crises, meet their basic needs, and improve their quality of life.  Trinity is the primary drop off site for VAC's Holiday Program (Adopt-a-Family for Christmas).

Medical Benevolence Foundation - supports healing ministries in more than 100 hospitals and clinics throughout the world
